We are committed to fast and effective solutions to guarantee your satisfaction.

We would like to ask you to follow the following guidelines. In case of non-compliance with these rules, your stay may be terminated or refused. Note that measures can be taken both before, during and after the stay.

  1. 1. Only registered guests are allowed to stay in the apartment. A valid ID card or passport is required for this.

2. Smoking is prohibited during your stay in the entire property. Smoke and fire detectors have been installed for your safety and can be activated if you smoke indoors. You can use the balcony. We ask you not to throw ashes and butts down from the balcony.

Smoking violations will be fined 150.00 euros.

3. Guests can use the accommodation according to the booking conditions. 

Check-out is no later than 12:00, unless otherwise agreed. If you still want to check out later despite this not being agreed, a supplement of 40 euros will be charged for this and only if this is still possible.

4. We cannot be held responsible for theft or loss of personal property in the apartment, you remain responsible for properly closing the accommodation. Windows and doors must be closed upon departure.

5. There is a fully equipped kitchen. No other dangerous goods such as gas cylinders, stoves, toxic and flammable substances, weapons or explosives may be stored or used in the apartment. It is also not allowed to fry in the apartment. Use of oil baths, large amounts of oil in a pan/cooking pot/... is not allowed.

6. The following activities are prohibited in the apartment: gambling, prostitution and drug use or drug trafficking.

7. Children under the age of 12 must always be accompanied by an adult and may not stay alone in the apartment.

8. Damage must be reimbursed according to cost price

Air-Conditioning: the remote control in the living room is equipped to both heat and cool. This serves the unit in the living room. We ask you to use it only with closed windows and doors. If you need additional help using it, do not hesitate to call for assistance. Via the 'MODE' button then choose to cool 'freeze' symbol must then be selected. If you want to heat, choose the 'sun' symbol.

Leave the installation on at a normal temperature on hot days, so the apartment stays cool or pleasantly warm.

Bathroom heating in the Tuinstraat/Garden Street: make sure the plug is in the socket, on the right side (bottom) is the ON/OFF button. After the device is switched on, the temperature can be set on the front (bottom right). This is a touchscreen control. Do not use the heater longer than necessary. It is also an infrared heater that will heat the room pleasantly

Bathroom heating in Rodekruisstraat/Red Cross Street: make sure the plug is plugged in and select the desired temperature. Do not use the heater longer than necessary.


Bathroom: we provide shampoo, shower gel and hand washing gel in large and refillable packages, it helps us to produce less waste during your stay.

Kitchen: a hand soap is available on the counter. Dish soap is located in the cupboard under the sink. Special tablets/pods for the dishwasher are packaged separately. Use only these tablets/pods for the dishwasher.


Bedroom: linen is replaced weekly, fresh sheets are provided by us with each stay or after 7 days.

Bathroom: towels are amply provided for each guest. Fresh towels are provided at each stay and after 7 days they are also replaced. However, you need new towels sooner, you can send us a message, we will replace the towels in the meantime.

Kitchen: towels and tea towel(s) are provided. These are also replaced weekly. Do you need extra towels before? Let us know.


A high chair or bed can be provided if desired. You can request this from us.


The fire extinguisher in the storage room can fix a first problem in case of fire, call 112 immediately and leave the building. In case of smoke and/or fire, the fire alarm will sound in the apartment. You can escape through the staircase or the balcony at the front of the apartment.


The electricity supplies are 230V. Please use the correct adaptors


Guests may be received from 08:00 during your stay but are not allowed to stay overnight and must leave the property no later than 22:30. It should also be quiet between 22:30 and 07:00. Violations of this will have consequences.


Smoking is not allowed in the apartment. However, it is possible to smoke on the balcony. See above.


A hairdryer is provided in the apartment. If there are problems with the device, please report this to us and do not bring it with you. In the event of its disappearance, 30 euros will be charged.


You can watch TV or log in to your streaming services, a radio is also provided in the TV app.

Some remote controls have a button to push up or down (RedCrossStreet and The Green). Problems watching TV, let us know.

There is no cable connection so you can watch via apps such as VRT, VTM GO, etc. You can then retrieve the news in the left menu of the app or you can select 'Watch Live' there.

You can also select a streaming service where you can watch series and movies.

Please do not take the remote control with you and always keep it with the TV.


The water from the tap is safe and drinkable.

A number of rooms have the option to adjust / dim / etc. the lighting using a PHILIPS HUE remote control.

Use the Philips Hue remote controls to turn the light on and off, to change the atmosphere or to make the light shine (less) brighter by using the dimmer. These small white trays are located against the wall and can also be placed on a bedside table or other table nearby. It also helps to turn the light on and off from bed. If the remote control does not work, you can control the wall switches.
